Another wonderful rally trip is ending. Fantastic Indian summer weather. Cruising along Germanys most beautiful side roads from one Currywurst to another. Meeting very nice people along the way and still haven’t met all rally participants after 4 days…
1 rally, 216 youngtimers, ~500 car lovers, 4 days, >1.200km, 0 breakdowns for us (98 breakdowns at rally fixed by the on-site team), passing 8 counties (Swabia, Bavaria, Thüringen, Sachsen, Sachsen-Anhalt, Niedersachsen, Nordrhein Westfalen, Hessen…) and being in places we haven’t been to before. And that’s what we love the most about rallying: people, places & a finish beer.
Oh, and by the way, Bielefeld does exist!!!
The Rally officially finished on Sunday. Now, Google & Siri are taking over navigation again… We added a day with our Volvo Oldtimer friends in Kassel, before picking up Charlie and 2 lambs.
That was the last rally in 2023 for us. Next appointment: service & Tüv! Fingers crossed. We extra chose a garage which is specialized in British cars! What could go wrong. Lol.
Happy Tag der Deutschen Einheit! It’s so nice to have spent the last couple of days in the East! Glad, there’s no border anymore! Happy reunification!
